Going to many different corners of Divisoria market that sell meat, fish, veggies, fruit, and everything else that is edible and seeing some of the grittier areas was a highlight. And sampling local street food is what I live for. I am probably forgetting some things, but Mari suggested many things, all of which I was happy to sample: bola bola (deep fried skewered balls with chucked, pork, etc), balut (fertilized duck egg with some bits inside), dynamite lumpia (stuffed long chiles), grilled skewered chicken intestines and pork blood, sisig, grilled…”
